Hamamelis x intermedia 'Antoine Kort'

This Hamamelis is especially popular for its dull red flowers which turn lighter towards the end of the petals. It is a healthy, often multi-stemmed shrub with wide habit. Antoine Kort (1874-1951), whose nursery lies at the basis of the current Arboretum Kalmthout, was the first person in Belgium who carried out Hamamelis crossings and selections.
