Hamamelis x intermedia 'Antoine Kort'

This Hamamelis is especially popular for its dull red flowers which turn lighter towards the end of the petals. It is a healthy, often multi-stemmed shrub with wide habit. Antoine Kort, whose nursery lies at the basis of the current Arboretum Kalmthout, was the first person in Belgium who carried out Hamamelis crossings and selections.
