Arboretum Wespelaar is OPEN on Wednesdays and Sundays from 10am to 5pm (you can exit the Arboretum until 6pm through the parking), until November 13th, 2016, included. Groups are also welcome on other days on request (with guide). For more practical informations, please go to "Contact and visits".
The central plant borders of the courtyard are filled with flowers: you will find the small purple flowers of Thalictrum 'Splendide', as well as the large flowers of Eupatorium maculatum 'Purple Bush'. Perovskia atriplicifolia 'Little Spire', which looks like Lavender, is also doing well. All perennials have a number tag. At the reception you can purchase the complete list of perennials sorted by name and by number for € 1.
When reaching the Magnolia meadow, the overwhelming scent of Tilia kiusiana (plot 211 and 220) will undoubtedly struck you. Further down the Magnolia Meadow, several Magnolia grandiflora are still flowering, amongst others Magnolia grandiflora 'Saint George'. Make sure to smell their wonderfully scented flowers. In the Marnef Wood the flowers of Hydrangea paniculata 'White Moth' stand out. In the Werner Wood, the berries of Crataegus and Sorbus are appearing.
